Beware of Potholes on Jl Jenderal Sudirman

For those of you who want to go outside to remain cautious when passing on Jl Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta. It is because you will meet potholes on the road thus it can trigger a traffic accident.

It is often repaired but damaged again

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, the potholes are seen in front of Wisma Nugra Santana from Senayan towards HI Roundabout. There are at least three potholes as deep as 10 cm.

Hendra (32), one of motorcyclists said, the road is actually often repaired, but damaged again. Moreover, rain often hits Jakarta lately. "It is often repaired but damaged again," he complained when being met at the location, Wednesday (9/7).

He hoped, reparation could be done permanently. "This condition has been ongoing since one year. I hope the next reparation can be done permanently to prevent the same condition," he hoped. 

Responding on this matter, Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept, Aris Komaris Nandika said reparation cannot be done yet because Jl Jenderal Sudirman still being focused on project of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT). So his side could only do patching. "If it is damaged, we will coordinate with dept for quick repair," he stated.

Similar condition is also spotted in front of Wisma Sudirman from Senayan towards HI Roundabout and in front of Sudirman Plaza from HI Roundabout towards Blok M, as well as in front of Sampoerna Strategic building from HI Roundabout towards Blok M.
